NECO 2026 Exam Timetable

 The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the official schedule for the 2026 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE Internal). The examination is expected to run from Monday, 15th June to Thursday, 23rd July, 2026.

Important Guidelines for Candidates and Schools

  • All candidates must come with a valid photocard for identification.
  • If there is any difference between the timetable and the question paper, candidates should follow the time on the question paper.
  • Venues for practical subjects such as Physical Education, Music, French, and Arabic will be confirmed by NECO state offices.
  • Candidates who do not participate in practical exams will not receive results for that subject.
  • Visual Arts (Paper IV) must be given to candidates at least one week before the exam date.
  • Blind and albino candidates are allowed 30 extra minutes per subject.
  • Only scientific calculators are allowed. Mobile phones, smart watches, and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited.
  • Nigerian language subjects include literature components.
